Osteoporosis is a very important disease which affects both men and women. All individuals at risk should have a bone density measurement done. There are many secondary causes for accelerated bone loss which should be investigated and treated where possible. There are many new treatments and simple measures to improve your bone health. Bone Health is important to think about not only as we age, but in our younger years as well, when we may through simple lifestyle changes, be able to decrease the rate of bone loss.
